ABS plain frames These ABS license plate frames (holders) are beautiful and affordable. You can't tell them from our metal frames unless you feel the weight. Once they are on the vehicle it is impossible to determine that they are not metal, but are the same material that all the rest of the trim in your vehicle is made of. What is ABS? ABS is an electro-plateable plastic used in the manufacture of your vehicle from the grill to the trademark ornaments. It's everywhere inside and outside. NOTE: Not all styles shown in the photo are available. Make your own custom frames with these blanks and some lettering from an art or hardware store. These frames come with screw covers, but do not come with hardware.
